the pressure of posting

Sorry guys, I know it's been awhile. We once again don't have internet at our place so I haven't been on line as much:)

Sometimes I feel like i don't have anything exciting to share...but i'll try:) I went to Vancouver for the last 3 days with my mom since I had a few days off due to spring break. We had a great time but it really reminded me of how i have become a small town girl and after a few days in the city I'm done! So this is something I have learned about myself. I really like quiet towns that are close to busy places so i can visit.

My mom and I saw Music and Lyrics and yes I also thought it was a cute movie; however, Cora the popstar really disturbed me. Our world is just becoming so perverted and this character reminded me of that.

I have also been learning lots about Listening prayer. My mom went to a conference at Peace Portal about it and basically it's not treating your prayer life like a phone call where you tell God everything and then hang up, but taking a lot of time to listen. I'm learning alot about prayer and trusting God..... there just seems so many things these days where i need His strength to trust.

Sorry, this was a random all over post but that has kind of been me the last few weeks. Random and feeling all over the place...thanks for reading friends:)

Chick Flicks

I was reminded this weekend that there's not much to do when you're trying to get over a terrible cold except watching movies. Reading hurts your eyes, talking hurts your throat, lots of noise hurts your head, so really the only choice is to lie on the couch and plug in a good movie. So this has been my last few days. Today I watched Sweet Home Alabama. I love this movie! As I was watching it I was reminded of how much the story line is similar to the Notebook which i watched last sunday. I often found as I as watching each movie I was getting their story lines mixed up. The great thing about both of these movies is that even what the female character is doing, is so wrong (cheating on her fiancee) they make it look so right. Only in hollywood!

I truly love both of these movies. I think i am a bigger fan of the Notebook because of the whole storyline with the cute old people. Why is it that these cheesy predictable movies make me feel so emotional and mushy inside? I don't know, but they just do and always will. Which one is your fav? The notebook or sweet home alabama?

How many days till your wedding?

So I was starting to count how many weddings we'll be going to this summer and we're at about 6 so far. This will be a busy summer but i must say I love weddings. I was thinking about the great people i know who will be getting married this summer and decided to look on the bay registary to see who has all registered. The great thing about the registery is that it tells you how many days to the wedding. So believe it or not, Alyssa, you're married in 86 days, Megan, 141 and Lynn 170. It's only a number of days away ladies:) Fun fun fun.....

I love Lost

I know the valentine posting is over as valentines day was yesterday but i still wanted you to know that not only do i love all of you( ang great valentine's slide show:) I also love the show lost.

I know Alyssa and Liz are into it, are there any other lost fans out there? After the 12 week break it started up again last week. After seeing last night's episode confirms Charlie will die. What a crazy story Dezmond has, any theories out there? Was he brainswashed? Was the paint can knock out when it all began?? So many unknown questions, which is why the show is SO good. If you haven't seen the show start watching the DVD's. I've never been a big "tv" person but this show has got me hooked.

Looking forward to hearing from you other lost fans.

I also love

I don't know if i'm allowed to do two posts in a row, as I am still learning the posting culture; however, tonight's my only free night so it's post time.

So my #2 I love is that I love having a sister. Seriously, they're great. After spending a wonderful weekend with my dear sister I was reminded of how special and fun she is. There's just a special bond that will always be. They love you in your worst and your best and they make you laugh.

So there are my first two loves. Sorry if it's a little touchy feeling...but love can be:)

I love....

For my first "valentines" post, I must say that I love being married. I know loving your husband should be the obvious but after having him gone all weekend I realized how it can be so lonely lying in bed by yourself, when you're used to having someone beside you. After seven months of married life I can say I love it:)
