I'm back

Hello friends,

I know it's been awhile since a post but i'm back! It's been a busy couple weeks with lots of celebrations and difficult situations but i finally have a chance to post:) Conor and i had a chance to go to Lake Chelan the last weekend in May to visit my cousins and stay at my parents time share and we had a wonderful time! We learned how to fly stunt kites and rode in a boat on the lake. It was wonderful. I realize i haven't downloaded those pictures but they will be on soon:) We also had the chance to experience the wonderful wedding of Lach and Kari Mullen last weekend. It was beautiful and the coolest thing about it was that they had a photo booth that Lach made! Yes, it was like one of the ones at the mall where you put in your money and out comes a thing of pictures. It was made out of wood and took over 200 hours in the making. You sat in there and pressed a button and it took your picutre. It was part of their guest book. It was a wonderful wedding and Geoff was the MC and brought out the kissing wheel. Good times! This weekend was my first experience at an american high school graduation as Conor's cousin graduated. It really felt like the movies and all the kids were tanned, blond and amercian. I can't really explain it but it felt very different than a canadian grad:)

Although there were many celebrations there were a few hard things if you could pray for. We found out that Dusty's dad has colon cancer this week and he had surgery on friday. He's doing well and the doctors think they caught it early, but they will get the results on tuesday, so please pray for him. I found out i didn't get an interview for the third grade job i applied for but i did make it to the top 6 out of 80. I'm doing much better with it now and i know God has a plan. Conor's grandfather was rushed into the hospital for heart pain today but he is doing much better and didn't have to have a stint put in. So please pray for him. Then, Megan, found out she has an ulcer on her cornea and is currently treating it. Please pray that it would get better.

So yeah it's been a busy last few weeks. I miss you friends and we'll have to hook up in the near future:)
